The AI market rewards the wrong people

Project Overview

Hey everyone, this is Allan. I want to talk about something that happened today. I was working on a project that Danilo and I closed a few weeks ago. We started on it last week, and today I was supposed to access the cloud and map how a previous freelancer had built a system for our client.

Client Misunderstanding

The client told us they had an “intelligence process” and a cloud system that would improve their Meta ads campaigns. When I looked, there was nothing like that. In the cloud there was only the usual Meta MCP and a simple prompt that made it easier to ask questions. There was no real intelligence, just a way to connect to Meta ads.

AI Market Reality

That got me thinking about how new the AI marketing space is. Clients often don’t know whether what they have is actually a product. I don’t know if they paid for it or how much they paid, but the market is full of opportunities for people with malicious intent. It’s easier to do the wrong thing when clients lack knowledge, and that’s not a good situation.

Professional Concerns

I can’t imagine lying to a client. It would be wildly unprofessional. Seeing unprofessional people possibly getting better results than me is frustrating. It’s not envy; it’s disappointment in myself for not being able to showcase my work more effectively. I know my work is good and I’m professional, but if I can’t demonstrate that, I risk losing ground to people who are far worse and just take money without delivering value.

Personal Brand

I keep thinking about how to improve my personal brand. I initially thought recording every day would be enough, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It’s a lot harder than I expected. That’s all for today, just wanted to share these thoughts. See you in the next video.
