I need to understand people's problems

Hey everyone, this is Allan. I have to be honest, I wasn't feeling inspired today and didn't know what to talk about. Then I remembered an article I studied yesterday about how to start making money online. I'm not starting yet, but I saw many lessons that I'm still not putting into practice daily.

Client Acquisition

One main problem in my client acquisition process is that I don't have a process yet. I only rely on luck and referrals from my clients or friends. Up until now I've been saved by the people I know from years of working. When I think about getting clients on my own I realize I don't have that skill yet, so I need to develop it. I did it four years ago, but it was easier then because there was no AI doing jobs faster and better than beginners.

I know I'm not a beginner, I have experience, a portfolio, and projects, but I don't know how to show that clearly. I thought I could just contact people and try to sell, but that's my mistake. If I only focus on selling I will fail.

Understanding Problems

I care more about my own problems, which is why I got into programming: I want to solve my own problems. But I'm forgetting that I need to understand other people's problems, break them into smaller pieces, and solve them one by one. That image stuck with me when I remembered a scene where Endeavor was building with small stones.

The problem I'm facing right now is that I don't know how to sell by myself. I understand I have to get in contact with people, but I can't just try to sell. I need to try to understand their problems. That's what I'm going to focus on from now on.

That's it for today.
