I decided to record in English

Why English?

Hey everyone, my name is Allan and I’m recording a quick video. I’ve been thinking about creating content in English, and it’s hard for me because I’m not a native speaker. I’m Brazilian, so I grew up speaking Portuguese, and I don’t like how I sound when I speak English. I think it sounds bad, but I’ve decided not to let that stop me. I want to grow a personal brand in English because getting clients who pay in dollars would be better for me, whether I stay in my country or move elsewhere, since it’s a stronger currency.

Daily Videos

This video isn’t edited. I even have my power cable in the shot, so it’s a pretty rough draft. I’ve decided to record a video every day and post it whether it’s good or bad. I don’t expect it to blow up or get many views. I just think it will be a good exercise. Right now I don’t speak very well, and I didn’t even write a script for this video, but that’s okay. I’m starting and I’m recording just to have a point in time that I can look back on later.

Looking Forward

By reviewing these videos in the future, I’ll be able to see how I’ve improved. I hope I can keep this consistency. That’s it for now. See you in another video.
