Day 50

Hey everyone, this is Allan. In today’s video I want to talk about the process of recording videos. I’m doing a challenge of recording for 100 days, and today is day 50, so I’m halfway there.

Confidence in English

Someone asked me how the experience has been, and the biggest difference I notice is my confidence speaking English. In the first videos I was scared of making mistakes and worried that people wouldn’t understand me. I was just being afraid because I don’t use English much in my daily routine. Even though I read and listen a lot, I have few opportunities to actually talk. Those minutes spent recording are the only time I speak English each day, so I’ve had to speak more. By speaking a little bit every day, I feel more confident and less afraid of mistakes. I’m still making a lot of errors and forgetting words, but each video feels easier with practice.

Subscriber Numbers

I know these videos are basic, but I expected to have at least 100 subscribers by now. I’m at about 94, which makes me happy even though I don’t see the number as a goal. Numbers are an easy way to get a score, an external result, because that’s the first thing you see on a channel.

Effort of Recording

Even though the videos are short, the process takes a lot of effort and energy. I have to stop what I’m doing, think about what to say, and then speak off the cuff. I don’t write full scripts; I improvise, but I still try to think a little beforehand. It’s harder than people think, but it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made this year to start recording in English, and I’ll keep focusing my content on English.

Future Plans

After I finish the 100‑day challenge, I plan to reduce the frequency to one video per week. I want this channel to feel more personal and honest. I also plan to start another channel dedicated to AI and working with AI. I’ve already talked about AI in some videos here, mostly as a “building in public” showcase, but I want to create structured content that beginners and more experienced users can actually use to learn.

That’s my thoughts after 50 days. I’ll be back soon for the remaining 50. That’s it for today.
