Watch on YouTubePhone Recording
Hey everyone, this is Allan. Today I’m trying something new: I’m recording with my cell phone instead of my notebook webcam. I’m not editing this video; I want to upload it directly from my phone. I’m using the front‑facing camera as a test.
Recording Habit
I’ve been recording for a little over 30 days, about 36 now. I’ve realized that staying consistent is harder than people think, even though it’s not impossible. When I started these videos, my goal was simply to build the habit of recording without worrying about quality. I still try to make small improvements, mostly in my recording and editing workflow.
AI Playlists
For the past few days I created playlists and built an AI agent that reads the transcriptions of my videos. The AI organizes the videos into playlists based on theme and generates chapters that make sense for each video. I haven’t added chapters or a description to this video yet; I’ll probably do that tomorrow because it’s already 11 p.m. and I need to pray before sleeping.
1% Improvements
When you’re trying to get better at something, it helps to aim for a one‑percent improvement each day. It sounds cliché, but the hardest part is staying consistent. Making tiny improvements isn’t difficult, but you have to do it even when you don’t feel like it, whether you’d rather watch anime, sleep, or rest. Over time, those small daily efforts add up, and you’ll see progress.
Learning Over Time
I know this from experience. When I was born, I only knew how to cry and how to eat. Everything else was learned one small step at a time, every day.
That’s it for today. Thank you.
